Ghana’s multiple award-winning reggae/ dancehall artiste, Stonebwoy was amongst the toast of reggae performers on the Bud Light Stage of the Beale Street Music Festival on Sunday.
His impressive set came after an energetic showcase from veteran reggae band, Third World. Stonebwoy opened with a performance of ‘People Dey’ after a crowd-charming introduction from TV personality, Dentaa Amoateng!
Stonebwoy went ahead to perform several hit songs including ‘Hero’, ‘Sobolo’, ‘Nominate’, ‘Activate’, and even went ahead to give Memphis an exclusive performance of his yet-to-be-released new single, ‘Therapy’.
His set had to be cut short for the next performer, Shaggy because it started late due to some challenges to his set-up which delayed his session by at least 15 minutes.
Highlights of Stonebwoy’s performance included Sarkodie dancing in the crowd to the super-charged set. The two artists also represented Ghana in France last week at the ‘Accra In Paris’ showcase.
